ACE Prime The Sergeant Fat Robusto

The ACE Prime The Sergeant is a fresh new release that made its debut at the 2021 Premium Cigar Association’s annual trade show in Las Vegas. It was named to honor one of the brand owner’s close friends who recently retired as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. Featuring filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and a double binder setup (1 from Nicaragua and 1 from Connecticut), you begin to get the impression that this is not just another cigar. Topping off the blend is an Ecuador Corojo 99 wrapper leaf. Tasting notes include flavors of leather, cedar, and cocoa along with hints of pepper, honey roasted nuts, and milk chocolate. It’s an outstanding new addition to the ACE Prime stable of cigars.

A cigar factory releasing a cigar brand under its own name is nothing short of a regular occurrence these days, but sometimes they are so surprisingly good you wonder why you’ve never heard of them before. Tabacalera Pichardo is that Nicaraguan factory, and they’ve released cigars under a few different names.
