Length:  4 1/2″
Ring Gauge: 48
Strength: Medium

The Aladino Habano Vintage Selection is an interesting line in the JRE Tobacco portfolio. As its name implies, this vintage series uses cigars rolled sometime in 2015-2016. They had been aging for 6-7 years before release to ensure superior flavor and maturity. The blend consists of Authentic Corojo binder and filler tobaccos along with a Honduran-grown Habano wrapper leaf. It is impeccably constructed and burns beautifully thanks to its long slumber in the aging room. Flavors of cedar, cream, and toasted breads are present along with hints of citrus, cinnamon, and pepper. The Vintage Selection is a fantastic stick and a perfect companion for a leisurely afternoon with your favorite cup of joe.

Aladino and JRE Tobacco may not be household names in the premium cigar industry, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t enjoyed a cigar or two from these fine folks before. As a matter of fact, you’ve probably heard of a few brands made famous by them. JRE stands for Julio R. Eiroa. He’s the father of Christian Eiroa of Camacho and now CLE Cigar fame, and his factories and farms helped put those brands on the map. Julio has been growing tobacco and making cigars for over 50 years. He was the first person to grow authentic Cuban-seed Corojo tobacco outside of Cuba. This authentic Corojo leaf changed the course of the industry 20 years ago, and it continues to be one of the most sought after tobaccos on the planet. Simply put, Aladino is an under the radar brand that produces some seriously good cigars.
