Plasencia’s Alma Fuerte is the brand that catapulted the Plasencia name to the forefront of the Premium and Super-Premium cigar market. Alna Fuerte roughly translates to “strong soul” and the blend is certainly on the fuller side of the spectrum. Utilizing some of the best tobaccos grown exclusively on their farms, the Plasencia Alma Fuerte is expertly constructed and features a blend of carefully selected, all Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos. It is wrapped in an oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Tasting notes include full flavors of cocoa, leather, and pepper that are well balanced with notes of toasted nuts, earth, and cedar. This particular vitola earned a 93 rating in Cigar Aficionado and was one of their top 10 Cigars of 2017.
