Newman created something very rare, very limited, and very special to mark their 125^th anniversary – the Diamond Crown Cameroon Select Double Belicoso. At first glance this cigar may not seem unusual as it bears the Diamond Crown label. But look a little closer and you’ll find something special. J.C. Newman, the company patriarch and founder, was the 1^st American cigar manufacturer to import and use African Cameroon tobacco in a cigar. So, to celebrate this milestone, along with their long-time manufacturing partner, Arturo Fuente, they set out to create a masterpiece Diamond Crown blend that utilizes the best African Cameroon wrapper leaf money can buy.

The blend on these Diamond Crown’s begin with Fuente grown Dominican tobacco for the filler and an undisclosed tobacco for the binder. To cover this artisan blend, the most gorgeous, high-quality genuine African Cameroon wrapper is used. These beautiful belicosos are individually packaged in cedar coffins. Rich and flavorful, these cigars are medium-plus bodied and complex flavors of cedar, nuts, earth and sweetness are tempered with occasional notes of pepper that dance in and out.
