Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Salamon

The Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ is a very special cigar in the company’s portfolio. It was the first collaborative blend created by Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia and his son Jaime Garcia. And what a collaboration it is! Each of these fine cigars are rolled in their Florida factory to ensure each cigar is perfect. It’s even rumored that ‘Pepin’ rolls some of these cigars himself. Kind of an exciting proposition. The blend is created using Garcia’s special triple fermentation method (meaning that each leaf involved in this cigar goes through 3 separate fermentation stages). The filler and binder are an undisclosed Nicaraguan combo, but the wrapper is a Nicaraguan Rosado Corojo leaf that is absolutely beautiful. Tasting notes include flavors of cedar, coffee, and baking spices along with hints of pepper, leather, and cream. It is a bold, but well balanced cigar and something the Garcia family can be proud of.

With his well-deserved success, expansion was the only way to keep up with demand. He quickly established the My Father factory in Nicaragua and began to transfer production and expand his portfolio.
