In the pantheon of the most sought after cigar brands in the world, the Fuente Fuente Opus X has few rivals. It is consistently one of the most asked for cigar brands the world over. The Lost City version of this fabled cigar has an interesting back story. In 2004, Andy Garcia began filming his movie The Lost City in the Dominican Republic and wanted to shoot a memorable scene at Chateau de la Fuente in July. Unfortunately, there was no tobacco being grown at that time. In order to help Andy Garcia, Carlito Fuente planted tobacco at Chateau de la Fuente during this time so that Andy could film. Not wanting to waste this precious tobacco, Carlito harvested and aged this special tobacco and the Fuente Fuente Opus X Lost City was born.

Using this unusual, Dominican grown, and well-aged tobacco, Carlito Fuente skillfully blended a special Lost City version of their world famous Opus X. These full flavored cigars feature bold but well balanced flavors of earth, nuts, baking spices, and raisins, with hints of caramel and cedar. You can also feel good while smoking these cigars as a portion of the proceeds fund the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation Lost City scholarship fund which provides education and health services to the underprivileged children in the Bonao region of the Dominican Republic.
