OneOff is a brand that has an interesting past. Debuting in 2001 as a limited production cigar using some of the finest tobaccos of the day, a rocky management team and distribution agreement did not equate success to this premium brand of the early aughts. In 2017, Illusione cigars purchased the brand and reformulated this brand, while retains it’s simple packaging and peace sign band.
Illusione OneOff features a blend of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos from Aganorsa along with a reddish brown-colored Nicaraguan wrapper. The owner of the brand will not elaborate further on the tabaccos used on this “Super Robusto” smoke. What we can tell you is that is tasty! Rich and well balanced notes of oak and leather are present along with notes of black pepper, nuts, and cocoa. Hints of sweet cream and espresso dance in and out as you enjoy this delightful cigar. The Illusione OneOff +53 scored a 92 rating in Cigar Aficionado magazine!
