Oscar Valladares McFly Toro

The Oscar Valladares McFly is an homage to one of the most iconic films of the 1980’s, Back To The Future.” It is Oscar’s second release that makes a nod to some of his favorite movies (the 1st was his Super Fly brand), and this one has unique packaging inspired by the film too. While the packaging and concept are a bit unusual, the quality tobaccos and construction are hallmark Oscar Valladares. McFly uses a blend of Dominican, Honduran, and Nicaragua tobaccos for the filler, a Honduran binder, and is topped off with a Mexican wrapper. Tasting notes include flavors of natural tobacco, earth, and nuts with hits of pepper, citrus, and coffee. The McFly is a great addition to the growing portfolio of premium cigars from Oscar Valladares.

Oscar Valladeres hit a walk-off homerun with his debut of Leaf by Oscar in 2012. While he is a long-time veteran of the industry, Leaf was the first cigar he produced at his new factory and was his introduction to the consumer side of the business. And what an introduction it was! Leaf took the market by storm thanks to its unusual packaging as each finished cigar is wrapped in a rough tobacco leaf. While it was a bit gimmicky, the cigars themselves were excellent.
