Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut Toro

The Pichardo Reserva Familiar Connecticut is the culmination of 150 years of Pichardo family history in tobacco. With that many years at their backs, it’s surprising that Pichardo is not a household name in the cigar industry. However that has all changed in the last few years. The Connecticut is one of three blends in the Familiar Reserva line and uses a blend of Nicaraguan filler tobaccos along with a Dominican binder leaf. Topping off the blend is an Ecuadorian Shade wrapper that has a beautiful golden hue. Tasting notes include flavors of earth, coffee, and cream with hints of leather, pepper, and maple syrup. The flavors are well balanced, and the cigar has an effortless draw. This Reserva Familiar would make an outstanding addition to any humidor.
