Punch Rare Corojo Pita

Punch Rare Corojo is one of the most sought after annual release cigars in the premium cigar industry. In fact it was one of the first limited production, annual release cigars in existence. But the name is a bit misleading. You would think that it would have a Corojo wrapper leaf, but instead the Corojo is part of the 3 nation filler blend (Nicaragua, Honduras, and Dominican).  The binder is Connecticut Broadleaf, and the wrapper is a prized Ecuador Sumatra-seed wrapper known for its richness and flavor. It is because this leaf is in such short supply, that this is an annual release and not a regular part of the Punch portfolio. Tasting notes include flavors of leather, woods, and pepper along with hints of marzipan, baking spices, and espresso.
