Rancho Luna is a wonderful Honduran puro blended by the master of Honduran Corojo, Julio Eiroa. The cigars are made at JRE’s Las Lomas factory located next to the JRE tobacco farm in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. Using a blend of Honduran Habano and Corojo tobaccos for the filler and binder, Rancho Luna uses a Honduran Habano wrapper.  All of these tobaccos are grown on JRE Farms, too. This generously sized cigar is medium bodied and features notes of cedar, earth, and baking spices with hints of pepper and oak. The smoking experience is laid back and stress free so you can enjoy everything this 70 ring beauty has to offer.

JRE Tobacco is one of those under-the-radar brands that deserves its time in the sun. Their cigars are produced at their Las Lomas factory in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. If you’re not familiar with JRE, it’s Julio Eiroa’s premium cigar company. That name should be familiar as Julio is Christian Eiroa’s (of CLE Cigar and formerly of Camacho Cigar fame) father and business partner. He’s one hell of a cigar maker that has been in the shadows for far too long. For over 50 years, he has been growing tobacco and making great cigars. JRE was created to showcase both Julio’s talents and some of the great tobaccos he grows and stores. His Aladino line has drawn a lot of attention lately, but Rancho Luna was his first line blended specifically for large ring gauge fans.
