It’s made with a blend of Nicaragua Corojo and Criollo filler tobaccos, a Nicaraguan Corojo binder, and a special Nicaraguan Shade-Grown Corojo ‘99 wrapper. While the blend may seem one dimensional on paper, it’s a tremendous fuller strength cigar with lots of good flavors. Tasting notes include earth, pepper, and natural tobacco with hints of cedar, cream, and honey roasted nuts. The San Miguel by Gurkha is a great cigar and will definitely have you reevaluating your take on the brand.
