The Sencillo Platinum cigars are all about life’s simple pleasures. These cigars are elegant and understated, but they offer outstanding construction, flavor, and balance. The blend on this Honduran Puro is a bit unusual. It uses Piloto Cubano filler leaves (usually grown in the Dominican Republic), along with a Jamastran Habano binder and wrapper. Tasting notes include flavors of pepper, sweet cream, and earth along with hints of leather, baking spices, and cedar. These blends may fly a bit under the radar, but they have a lot to offer.

Sencillo cigars are inspired by the love of simple pleasures. They are the brainchild of Keith Park, owner of Prometheus and creator of the God of Fire and Angelenos cigar lines. Reminiscing fondly about a recent trip to Honduras and Nicaragua, he decided to create an exquisite line of premium cigars rolled in each of these countries. An interesting fact is that the two factories where these cigars are made (Danli Honduras and Esteli, Nicaragua) are only 80 miles apart, but they might as well be on two separate continents. Pronounced “Sen-See-Yo,” Sencillo is the Spanish word for “simple.” You won’t notice anything flashy about the packaging, but what lies beneath the band is a work of art.
