Trinidad Espiritu No. 2 Toro

The Trinidad Espiritu No. 2 is another expressive cigar that delivers a fresh and exciting experience for this special brand. This project was overseen by Rafael Nodal, whose expertise in well-aged tobaccos and music helped chart the course for this new Trinidad. You can see the musical influence on the label packaging where bold colors are carefully woven together to create a lush tapestry. This time, it seeks to capture the vibrant culture of Brazil. Made by AJ Fernandez in his factory, the blend centers around the flavorful Brazilian Arapiaca wrapper. Using a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, an additional Brazilian leaf is added to the filler To strengthen its Brazilian roots. It is a well balanced blend that features lush flavors of espresso, oak, and earth along with hints of pepper, caramel, and mesquite honey. The Espiritu offers an enjoyable smoking experience with loads of flavor without being overly strong. 

Just over fifty years ago, Fidel Castro created the Trinidad brand as a private brand for himself and Cuba’s diplomats. It was also the first new Cuban cigar brand to launch after the revolution. Many Cuban cigar brands like Trinidad have been remastered for the American market with great success. For years, Trinidad struggled to find their groove, but that all changed with their latest releases. Under the masterful eyes of AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal, a new course for this storied brand has been set. Drawing inspiration from the “Golden Years” of cigars and Caribbean culture, the new Trinidad Espiritu series features a bold new look and flavor not seen in previous releases from the brand.
